Our Surgery Experience with Thyroglossal Ductus Cyst and Fistules

Objective: In this study, we aimed to analyze the clinical symptoms, examination signs, and treatments of 34 patients who were operated on with diagnosis thyroglossal duct cyst, together literature. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed medical reports due a cyst in our clinic. The patient’s age, gender, location swelling neck region whether they fistulized, USG results, pathological results recorded by us. Results: Of patients, 20 male, 14 female, their ages ranged from 6 48 years (mean 14.3±11.7 years). most common symptom was middle (82%). Other symptoms occasional discharge or fistula neck.
